The Salwico EVC-IR is an Evolution conventional Flame Detector with dual infrared wavelength sensors. Traditional UV and IR flame detectors are susceptible to unwanted alarms. The false alarm sources are different for each type of flame detector. With a dual infrared detector, both sources must receive an alarm signal before initiating a fire alarm signal to the fire control panel.

The low profile, combined with the Omniview 360° alarm indication, makes the detector suitable for use in sites with high architectural requirements.
